The World Health Organization says coverage of COVID-19 vaccination in remote areas remains low. 

Speaking to Radio Miraya this morning, WHO incident manager Sacha Bootsma said the vaccination exercise is costly, noting that health workers go outside health facilities to reach the population. 

Bootsma says the intensified vaccination campaign in areas cut off during the raining season in ongoing.
