The 19-year-old former soldier who was tortured by his superiors in Rweng and later had his arms amputated, is asking for prosthetic arms. 

Atem Mayiek was held by senior officers on suspicion of stealing a phone which was later found.

The officers who tortured him were convicted to 7 years but were later reported to have paid their way out of prison. One of the convicts has been re-arrested while the other is still at large.
