A team from the regional bloc IGAD has concluded consultations in Juba after listening to the position of the government ahead of the next round of the High-Level Revitalization Forum.

The delegation held closed door discussions with President Salva Kiir and other officials in an attempt to close existing gaps between the warring parties.

The Director for International Organisations in the Foreign Affairs Ministry, John Adruga Duuku says the mediator should ensure that revitalization talks objective of achieving permanent ceasefire, inclusive government and realistic time frame for holding credible elections are adhered to by the parties for the talks to move forward.

Ambassador Andruga told Nelson Lwak in an interview that the government is firm on its position of revitalization with no fresh demands.
