A new solar-powered waster distribution system which was dedicated in December is improving lives and comes as a big relief to residents of Jopa West Block five in Juba.
The facility has a capacity of thirty thousand (30,000) cubic liters to serve a population of more than one thousand beneficiaries.
The project worth seventy thousand US dollars ($70,000) was implemented by the International Organization for Migration – IOM, with support from the US Agency for International Development – USAID.
IOM’s Community Mobilizer and Gender Based Violence Focal Point, James Walla, spoke to Philip Wani following the installation.
