Women members of the South Sudan Council of Churches have held marathon prayers for the spiritual retreat in The Vatican.
The women have locked themselves in seclusion at the Council offices in Juba for the past three days praying for a positive outcome.
The National Coordinator of the Women’s Program in the Council of Churches, Agnes Wasuk Sarafino says their prayers are for the spirit of peace to soften the hearts of the country’s leaders.
The 2-day retreat concludes Thursday.
