UN Children’s agency, UNICEF is rolling out a reactive measles vaccination campaign to contain an outbreak that has spread to 11 counties.
The exercise targets more than five hundred thousand children in affected areas across the country. This follows an outbreak reported in January with seven deaths and 900 confirmed cases.
UNICEF Communications Specialist, James Aldworth says they are racing against time to contain the outbreak.
