Description

 The River Nile is the longest river in Africa and the disputed longest river in the world. This is due to Brazilian government’s claims that the Amazon river is longer that our Nile. 
 
What is, however, not disputed is that the British-born Australian Sarah Davis has become the first recorded woman to attempt the human-powered descent of the Nile River by raft and kayak. 
 
Ms Davis, who recently completed her four thousand kilometres long journey, has shared her epic story with Radio Miraya’s Charles Sworo:
