The Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission – JMEC, says they are working to ensure that the first batch of the SPLM in opposition advance team returns to Juba at least this weekend.
Mr. Aly Verjee, the spokesperson of the JMEC secretariat in Juba said the schedule for the implementation of the peace agreement has fallen way behind schedule, due to issues connected with the return of the opposition members whom he said remain critical to the peace deal implementation process.
