Up to four hundred (400) UK Armed Forces personnel are to join UN peacekeeping work in #SouthSudan, UK Minister for the Middle East and Africa, Mr. Tobias Ellwood, has said.He said the armed personnel will be comprised of medical personnel and engineers among others.
Mr Ellwood, jetted into the country on Wednesday to affirm Britain’s commitment to support efforts to restore stability in the country. While in Juba ,Tobias popped into our Studio’s and sat down for a chat with Sani Martin.
He spoke about the National Dialogue initiative, emphasized the escalating humanitarian crisis, underlined the UK’s commitment to help the most vulnerable and urged all parties to stop war and implement the peace agreement.
