The United Nations Development Program - UNDP is calling for stronger efforts to increase women’s visibility in the world of work.
The call by Fredrick Mugisha, UNDP economics adviser comes after the release of a new global Human Development Report, which shows glaring inequalities between men and women.
The report states that while women carry out 52 percent of all work, they are less likely to be paid for their work than men.
Mugisha told Miraya Breakfast show that more needs to be done to support women enter the job market.
