Description

Today on Hack The Entrepreneur we have the author of the Amazon best-selling book, Design for Hackers: Reverse-Engineering Beauty. To be clear, he no longer considers himself a designer and we do not talk design. He has worked as a designer, then wrote one blog post about design and got a book deal. Prior to writing Design for Hackers, he founded the Design departments at two Silicon Valley startups, and freelanced for clients like oDesk. Since the debut of Design for Hackers, our guest has traveled the world, speaking about design and entrepreneurship, and mentoring startups. He was in Chicago during this conversation, is in Austin TX now, and is on his way to South America for a few months. He’s slightly nomadic and he’s a super smart guy. Now, let’s hack… David Kadavy.

What you will learn in this episode:

Why you need to follow your curiosity
It's not bad to have your brain go all over the place from time to time
Using entrepreneurship as a tool for self-discovery
Why you need to focus on passive income (and a trick to hep you do this)
