Description

Fred Faour and guest host, Jerome Solomon, kick off the first hour of The Blitz from Live Sports Bar & Grill and start the show talking about the Big 12 bringing back a championship game, which will be implemented in the upcoming 2017 season. In other Big 12 news they recently approved a rule which will allow Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield to be eligible to play for Oklahoma in the 2017 season. Recent news has been released that one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time, Muhammad Ali, has been put on life support, which prompts Jerome to discuss a story he is working on for the Houston Chronicle about Muhammad Ali’s legacy in Houston. Wrapping up the first hour of The Blitz, Fred and Jerome discuss their lack of surprise that the Cavaliers lost the first NBA final game, how impressive the Warriors bench played last night, and ask the listeners if they believe the Warriors and the Cavaliers are good enough to keep up a Lakers vs. Celtics 5 to 6 year rivalry.
