In this week's edition of KC Closeup we talk with Karl Kramer, communications director at McCarthy Auto Group, who is raising money for breast cancer awareness as part of a group called Real Men Wear Pink. Karl has an important message for spouses of those battling breast cancer: it is not just a solo disease. In the second half of the show we focus on the arts. The Universal Film Festival comes to Cinemark Palace on the Plaza this Thursday. We talk with Sarah, the social media director, about the festival, its origins and mission.
