One of the most challenging things to come to terms with for firefighters is the chance they could lose their own home while fighting other fires.



Region 3 Regional Commander Ray Jackson went from supporting his teams during the 2019/20 Cudlee Creek bushfire to rushing to save his family’s home as the blaze charged towards it.



He joins Jennie Lenman and Craig Pitman to talk about it.
