As magpie swooping season is underway in South Australia, pedestrians and cyclists are being reminded to take care around local nests.

Department for Environment and Water (DEW) Principal Ecologist, Dr Karl Hillyard said some male magpies defend their nests until the young  birds are ready to fly. He shares some tips with Jennie in this podcast.
