The Hotel Elliot had to temporarily shut its doors on the weekend due to an electrical fire, costing $150,000 in damages.

While the rebuild is expected to take between 8 and 10 weeks, owners are able to reopen for dinner service from 5pm this afternoon as they have a second kitchen.
