The 2022 Yankalilla Citizen of the Year is John Freeman.

The community-minded man is a big part of the South Coast community, helping new recruits learn the ropes at the Normanville Surf Life Saving Club. 



Life saving has become a passion for John since retiring from the MFS after almost 28 years in the Operations Commander role.
