Today’s episode is a REWIND of an episode hosted in 2016 by Sam and Shanika all about the importance of an intersectional feminist approach to revolution as well as the necessity of self care in times of resistance.
The intro to this episode features Sam, reiterating the ways in which we must look at this moment as it pertains to all Black folks — because whether you’re aware or not All Black folks are suffering under an unjust policing and criminal justice system. Sam also gives out a list of orgs to donate to in order to support the varying intersections of Black folks, orgs to become involved with if you’ve been activated to do the work, and other tips, reminders, media and resources to keep in mind today and everyday.
