Dana Dobbie, one of the legends of Canadian lacrosse and a pioneer across multiple disciplines of the sport, is announcing retirement from her playing career.
“We're hanging up the cleats, we're folding up the jersey and we're throwing out that bad word ‘retirement,’” Dobbie said. “But at the same time, I feel like I've given everything I possibly can to the sport as a player. And I'm so excited about that next chapter and what that looks off the field, off the floor, and even if it's just being a fan.”
