- We remind y'all what's coming up this month for Hypable's #teenwolftakeover
- We point out this episode's unusual narrative structure.
- Favorite quotes, as per usual.
- Stiles is still able to outwit Scott, no matter how capable Scott has become.
- Peter and Scott may be our new fave dialogue partners!
- Does Scott think he can make it through this conflict – or life as a werewolf – without killing?
- Surprise, Natalie makes another Buffy parallel.
- Is Scott naïve? Have the rules of his world changed? Will he just talk everyone into solving problems like nice civilized human beings?
- Karen is still obsessed with Matt and deems that he would be proud of Scott in this episode.
- Jeff said Allison was his favorite character for this episode. We agree.
- Let's get this out of the way... we kind of mostly didn't love this episode.
- We found it confusing, and not in a cool way.
- We had zero emotional investment in Derek's death, because we know he's in the rest of the season!
- We DID like some of the character development.
- But really not the narrative.
- We liked the scene between Scott and Allison in her home, but got confused – again, in the bad way – about Deucalion's appearance in the elevator.
- We very much enjoyed the comedic scenes between Coach Finstock and Jared - the walk-on role winner Jeremiah! (
@jermbly)
- We're not sure we like Cora – at least, she's certainly not what we expected.
- Does the scene between Lydia and Aiden contain a hint that Aiden may be, at heart, a decent human being?
- What exactly are the Alpha Pack doing in Beacon Hills?
- What do they think they are doing? Is Deucalion lying to them?
- Karen has a theory that may turn the tables on the Alpha Pack.
- How many abandoned malls are there in California?
- Wouldn't “no bodies” maybe be a pretty good indication of “not dead”?
- The dynamic between Cora and her Uncle Peter is definitely the most fascinating thing about our new baby Hale.
- Scott's showing all the signs of becoming an Alpha – how is he going to become one without killing another?
- What does Danny think is going on around him?
- We're reminded of a little piece of canon that could lend weight to the theory that Danny is secretly a werewolf and knows
exactly what is going on around him.
- The flashback of Kali and the others bringing Ennis to Deaton once again has us saying “what the hell” about Morell.
- Do the Alpha Pack care about each other? Is this the first time they've been humanized?
- Stiles vs Coach – The Whistle Edition. Hilarious, but is Stiles on the verge of cracking up?
- If Stiles is going to have a breakdown, Natalie quits the show that week.
- Stiles' creepy face to Jared – the stuff of nightmares?
- If Scott's subconscious was stopping his healing process - could have this been an aspect of Peter's healing process from his burns? That he just had no will to live?
- Natalie points out something that should have immediately informed the Beacon Hills pack about whether Derek was truly dead.
- We really loved Allison's stitching scene.
- Is Victoria's appearance a daydream, a hallucination, or something more?
- When did Scott make the decision to “go for Mexican”?
- If you don't pick up on what's really going on in that scene, Isaac seems so creepy and needy.
- We theorize about how Derek and the others knew about Scott's Mexican food plans.
- Jeff gave confirmation regarding one of Derek's questionable actions last week.
- Do bad guys take special classes in learning how to make dramatic entrances?
- More of Stiles as a “poison friend” – did he purposely upset Isaac into beating Ethan, for the sake of stalling the bus?
- Why, precisely, did Deucalion smush Ennis's face in?
- Did anyone else find Deuc's goodbye kiss weirdly
ritualistic?
- Do Aiden and Kali know that Deucalion killed Ennis, or do they think he succumbed to his wounds?
- “Pack, or family?” What's the difference between the two, to a werewolf?
- Scott's red eyes: why in that moment? A huge question that we don't have an answer to.
- It
really doesn't seem like anyone checked very hard about whether Derek and Ennis were killed in their fall onto the escalators.
- Is the endgame of this season Darach vs Alpha Pack with the Beacon Hills pack caught in the middle?
- Is Deaton
actually Morell's big brother, or was this a figure of speech?
- Derek is still alive. We’re so shocked.
