This drama is a poignant examination of how Alzheimer's disease strips its victims of almost everything and makes life for those affected by it almost unbearable. Jim and Rose are an ordinary couple looking forward to their old age together when dementia strikes. We see how Rose, Jim's loving wife, is affected and how she handles her loss with stoicism and even a degree of positivity, finding ways to cope and ways to remain cheerful by remembering the good times they had shared.
