What were the favourite songs of your parents?
Well … my Mam isn’t really that bothered about
music, unless it’s to dance to, but my late
Stepdad Mick was musician from the age of
14 till he died at 93 and said he couldn’t have
imagined life without music. It was the most
important thing in the world to him.
He was open to all kinds of music, even his
noisy step-son's … but his favourite genre
was Jazz. So this one is for you Mick.
