In this first instalment of Working at LSE, we follow The Beaver’s months-long investigation 🔍into the usage of casual or hourly-paid contracts at LSE and how they lead to the exploitation of workers. On the picket line, we also speak to Yasmine Kherfi, PhD student and GTA in the Department of Sociology, about her experience with casual contracts and where casual students and workers alike can go from here. 🤝
