Telling someone you love them before they have told you can be one of the scariest things you can do. I am not talking about romanic love but I suppose it does apply. We can never truly change someone else but we can change ourselves and in changing ourselves others generally can't help but change. The aim though is not to expect change in others because if this is your focus you will be disappointed. The aim is to be the change as Gandhi would say and change because it is who you want to be.
