Sol Velasco is a seasoned deckhand and the first female Salvadorian deckhand in the yachting industry.



Sol has been a deckhand for 7 years. Early in her career, she did attempt an interior position, and knew early on she belonged on deck. Luckily for Sol, she had a female Captain to take her under her wing, share her knowledge, and encourage her to continue on her deckhand journey.
