Description

Glaucoma remains a leading cause of irreversible blindness globally as progressive optic nerve damage leads to permanent vision loss. Recent advancements in glaucoma management—including novel mechanisms of action, innovative drug delivery systems, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries—may help improve adherence, efficacy, and outcomes.

This PER On Air Optometry Times podcast provides an in-depth review of some of the key highlights from the 18th Annual Controversies in Modern Eye Care Conference, held in May 2024. This unique and engaging multi-media activity focuses on the practical aspects of managing patients with glaucoma, putting recent clinical trial data into clinical context. The program is designed for those who did not attend the live meeting and to help reinforce learnings for those who did.
