In Kurt Cobain Part 2, we journey through the Nevermind album and Courtney Love era of Kurt Cobain’s life. In this episode we learn about how Kurt came to meet Courtney, we find out about her background story as well as the introduction of Dave Grohl to Nirvana as the replacement drummer for Chad Channing. We take a look at all the most interesting songs from the Nevermind album such as Smells Like Teen Spirit, Come as You Are, In Bloom and more as well as the story behind the songs and the famous album cover. Also included is the famous Nirvana performance at the Reading festival, Guns N Roses vs Nirvana, Kurt and Courtney’s heroin struggles, the birth of their daughter Frances and the lead up to Nirvana’s 3rd album In Utero.
