  “B-but…he'll see me…You need to hide me! Please!” the terrified man begged, as approached the bar. 



  “Nah. He won't,” the bartender said with a wink, and a click of the tongue, “trust me.”



  The slender man, in the dark gray, pin-striped vest, and white shirt, with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, gestured to the window, next to the wooden door. As the hesitant Mr. Brock reluctantly cut his gaze to the outside world beyond the small tavern, he heard those hastened footsteps drawing near, as though no borders were blocking the path.
