These allegations emerged from an NBC docuseries where a former member of the 1980s Puerto Rican boy band “Menudo” claimed he was molested by their father. The brothers also cited a recently discovered letter sent by Erik Menendez to a cousin, hinting at ongoing abuse. If these allegations are accepted as valid new evidence, they could potentially lead to a new trial and possibly, the freedom of the Menendez brothers.
