Seventeen year old Kara Kopetsky disappeared from Belton, Missouri on May 4th, 2007. Her disappearance came just days after Kara had filed a restraining order against her ex boyfriend, Kylr Yust, alleging severe abuse over the course of their relationship. For many years, Kylr remained off of the authorities' official suspect list.



On September 8th, 2016, 21 year old Jessica Runions of Raymore, Missouri was seen leaving a house party with Kylr Yust. She was never seen alive again.



A massive break in the case of Kara Kopetsky comes when a mushroom hunter finds human remains on a rural farm in April 2017.
