December 28, 2025  |  Hebrews 12:1-3 

Hebrews uses a metaphor of running the race, to describe how we orient ourselves to life in God’s kingdom, a way of life shaped by faith and dependency in Jesus. Jesus invites us to pick up the baton of faith passed on by those who have gone before us and to run with the same kingdom purpose. A kingdom race is one of surrender, as we learn to trust and follow Jesus into the unexpected and beautiful reality of His Kingdom come in the world today.
