Please take time to check in on your friends and family who are victims of stalking. Yesterday's ruling by the Supreme Court ignores the insidious nature of stalking and the harm this crime causes its victims and their communities. Allowing stalkers to argue their actions were not intended to be threatening and thus protected as free speech punishes victims. Threats, intimidation, and unwanted messages should NOT be protected under free speech.
