On the morning of October 2, 2003, Monica Carrasco, a 16-year-old beloved daughter and sister, was discovered missing from her aunt and uncle’s house near Balmorhea, Texas. The only items missing from Monica’s room were her beige nightgown and bible - the rest of her belongings, including her socks and shoes, were left behind. Despite extensive searches, no trace of Monica has ever been found. It’s been more than 20 years since Monica vanished, and investigators are still searching for her…



16-year-old Monica Carrasco went missing between 1:30 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. on October 2, 2003. She was last seen asleep in her bed at her aunt and uncle’s house, located four miles southwest of Balmorhea, Texas, near Highway 17 and County Road 323.



At the time of her disappearance, Monica was 5'5" with brown eyes and black hair, possibly with red streaks. She is Hispanic with a medium complexion. She has pierced ears, a chicken pox scar on her forehead near her hairline, a small light-colored mole on her left cheek, and dimples in both cheeks.
