In mid-December 2011, a Florida couple, Kelly Moriarty and Doris "Pat" Carter, disappeared. Weeks passed before they were reported missing, causing a delay in the investigation. Suspicion has fallen on some of Pat's family members, but no one has been charged, and the case remains unsolved.
