TRUTH: Owning your own business is not always glamorous.

"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time
we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." - Galatians 6:9

Some very exciting things are happening in my life right now.
But, to be honest, I have no idea how I've done everything I've
done in the last month. It even makes my head spin and right now it
is a bit of a blur. Only by the grace of God.

Even in the midst of it all, I'm getting better at taking time
off and enjoying weekly hikes/adventures with CJ and daily
prayer walks.

Coaching authors, writing books, and speaking is my passion AND
it is incredibly rewarding.

However, growing a business requires a lot of perseverance.

A couple of years ago I sensed God leading me to let go of my
"Plan B."

My plan B was to go back to work as a Physical Therapist with
good pay and a regular paycheck.

And I would think about it regularly.

It was one of the hardest decisions I made, but I had
confirmation from several places and decided to OBEY. I made the
BIG leap and left my Physical Therapy career behind for good. I
gave up my P.T. license and now I can't go back to practicing as a
P.T. unless I took the licensure exam again, which was hard enough
to pass the first time right out of college.

I grieved.

I wrestled with God.

And it's still hard.

Last week, I honestly didn't know how we were going to pay some
of our bills.

But God.

He provided once again. Why do I worry?

This is an area God is working on in my heart BIG time. It's
time to RISE above fear and live in FAITH.

I sense a breakthrough coming for our business this year.

Has it been worth it?

YES! So worth it.

I'm reminded almost daily of how God is using my obedience for
good and to glorify Him.

Has it been hard?

YES!! So. Very. Hard.

I honestly think if I would have kept my P.T. license active I
would have gone back to that job and financial stability. I think
God knew what was ahead and what I needed to do in order to keep
moving forward and not look back.

It is still hard.

But, anything worth having is worth working for, right?

One. Step. At. A. Time.

The harvest is waiting when we OBEY God, even when it doesn't
make sense to everyone around us.

It's time to not just survive, but to THRIVE!
