| Date: 3-11-12 | Speaker: Diallo Smith | God hates religion! Whenever we contort or twist the truth of God for a lie under the guise of religious activity it irritates God to no end. Religion stinks to God! But no matter how hard God expresses his displeasure with it, the stench of religion continues and in the process guides people away from God’s true heart and desires. Jesus lived in a time when religious people had become domesticated, institutionalized, and civilized; they were only a hollow shell of what God intended for them to be. Jesus didn’t fit into the organized religion of his time because God didn’t fit either. This message series goes past dressing up for Sundays, past putting on a religious facade, past speaking religious talk no one else understands, past belittling people in the name of religion. This series has one intention: to liberate people from the bondage of religion and connect them to the freedom that lies in a true relationship with God. Religion Stinks!
