Since the world and Satan and even our self interests are out to block the redemption of humanity in Jesus Christ, God is an active participant in fulfilling His plan of salvation. He calls us to join Him in this marvelous adventure.
This truth entails the prophecies and promises of God. All through Matthew he will point out the prophecies given of the Messiah and how they are fulfilled in Jesus. He will also point out the miracles God does to insure His plan is completed.
Despite the increasing conflict and persecution of those of us called to join God in His plan, God is all powerful. His will will be done. Let us cry out for the courage and strength and the wisdom to be God's instruments and messengers of hope and life.
