The second part of John's vision of Jesus focuses on His humanity. Jesus is the Resurrected, glorified and ultimate expression of who we will be like. Think of it, we will be changed in the twinkling of an eye to be like Him!
Jesus is seen in the midst of the seven churches/seven lampstands. This tells us He is in our midst today. He knows us and is concerned about us as He will write to these churches and write to us through them.
Jesus's authority and power is so striking he falls at His feet as though dead. John sees Him in His priestly royalty, in His eternal magnificence of wisdom and all knowing nature, in His unchangeable character full of power, which He commands with unrivaled authority.
