As Jesus unfolds for us the treasures of God's kingdom, we learn what we should pray for that God would develop in us: a humble spirit, a willingness to enter into the suffering of others, and the Divine strength of God to lead us in fulfilling the purposes of God in contrast to the worldly desires that seek to lead us in the ways of humanity away from God.
Jesus will reveal to us one of the great principles or secrets of the universe, we will reap what we sow. If we sow love, we will reap love. If we sow anger, we will reap anger. If we sow mercy, we will reap mercy. If we sow lust, we will reap lust.
