The Apostle Paul continues to be our role model in what it means to be great in God's kingdom. He reminds us of our need to be true to Jesus and His Gospel message. Our focus must be on Jesus and living out His teachings in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Paul's success in preaching the Gospel brought persecution. Obedience to Christ will bring you persecution. You will stir up the worst in the self righteous and in those living in sin against Christ. We must remain true to Jesus and even rejoice in the pain of suffering for Him.
Paul never compromised or changed the truth about Jesus to conform to the world. Pray to have such love for Jesus and to apply that love into how we live and make decisions on a daily basis.
