When God gives us this beautiful gift of oneness by the blood of Jesus, He expects us to partner with Him in the restoration process of becoming more and more like Jesus. The heart of this is yielding ourselves to Him in order to truly serve one Master.
In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus reveals the root cause of our sinfulness in that we are inwardly divided, pulled in different directions to serve other masters.
We were created to serve one Master. The fracture of our soul, which includes our mind, God begins to restore through the work of the Holy Spirit.
Creation reflects the oneness of God. The ecosystems of life thrive as they are one, interconnected and dependent on each other.
Jesus prayed that we would be one in John 17:20-26.
