We are told by Jesus that the greatest expression of love is to lay down one's life for a friend. AsI listened to a message on how Jesus prepared His life for the cross I reflected on the meaning of His sacrifice. I wrote down these words: the price you pay for a commodity reflects the value you place on your purchase.
Jesus purchased our lives on the cross. "We were bought with a price." The value God placed on us was that of His Son. That is the highest payment in the universe. Let us ponder and meditate on what that means for you and me. You may come to conclusions that will change your life!
