Before we explore further who it is to be blessed by God, let's look at what the blessings are. We are all motivated by rewards. God created us that way. We need inspiration to help us achieve. Except in this case we do not earn these rewards by our good works. They are the fruit of living in a love relationship with God. They are the blessings of belonging in God's family through the blood covenant of Jesus Christ.
These blessings that we will discuss are primarily relational and spiritual in nature. They are for now and in the future. They transcend and exceed what the world offers. They are at the heart of every person ever born in that we desire to have, but cannot experience apart from a relationship with God. They are gifts that can only be received in God's kingdom.
