Prophecy is one of the most important truths that confirm for us there is a God and Jesus is His  Son.  The only explanation for true prophetic words given by dozens of different authors over  the span of thousands of years that weave together a united plan that unfolds exactly as  predicted: there is Creator who is in charge of His creation and He is greater than any of us can imagine. 
 
It means God has a plan for His creation and for each of us. This plan is centered in God Himself, who became a Man to communicate to us who He is and what is the meaning of life.   Thus, as the Bible teaches, we should desire to know God and His Son whom He sent.  This results in eternal life!
