God created Adam and Eve and blessed them. Jesus came to restore us to these blessings and to teach us how to live in these gifts from God. We were created to be blessed, to have God's favor, to experience shalom. Everyone has an inward desire to be blessed.
Let us ask the Holy Spirit to open our eyes to see who are the blessed ones in the kingdom of heaven. We will discover that all these blessings are open to all people of every tribe, tongue, and nation. They are not based on wealth or intelligence or inheritance or luck or fate or health or skin color. All of us can have these blessings that reflect Jesus and the image of God.
