Foot stomping and hip shaking from the go with this one, building that rhythm with Jay Haze before launching into Silicone soul, then it's the first of 3 from the genre defying Jamie Jones and his outstanding 'Tales from the Crypt' EP. Jay Shepheard provides a moving instrumental before Spain's Roberto Palmero's work of "Tell You", Jamie Jone's steps in with 'Somewhere" - love his box of tricks towards the end of this track- before we feel the groove of Alex Galvan, Bristol in England is then represented by the up and coming Manner City, Heavy remix by Topper- definitely one of my faves, before Jamie sets the scene again with Tonight in Tokyo, another English gem from Liverpool's James Silk, definitely looking forward to hearing more of his work- Shonky then gets a Martinez Brothers remix workout and damn it's powerful, then a tune I've had for a little while and now seemed as good a time as any to add to this mix Pirahnahead's "Dancing feels Like" with the vocals of Stephanie Goddes will get any dancefloor elevated in rhythm. I then put up a Lovebirds tune remixed by Kreon in 2008 as to me it has not dated one piece. The final piece in this Deep House jigsaw is thanks to George Kristopher from House Your Soul (Sydney) for highlighting to me a delightful gem from the man that is Arnold Jarvis "Dance" from the outstanding "Just Say It" EP, can't get enough of this one.
