Albert Straka is 90 years old, a retired letter carrier, credit bureau agent, real estate professional, Rider University graduate, Superstorm Sandy survivor. He’s been married to the same woman since 1948, he raised four children with her. He also one of the few remaining survivors of the amphibious invasion at Normandy, France on June 6, 1944. On the day before the 71st anniversary of D-Day, Albert Straka talked about his role in the invasion, and how he feels about the legacy of those who gave their lives on that fateful day.
