Description

N.J. State Assemblyman Raj Mukherji, Democrat from Jersey City, has become known as one of the lawmakers leading the charge on the expansion of casino gambling in New Jersey. What may not be as well known about him is that by the time he reached age of 20, he was already a young entrepreneur with a real estate portfolio and his own public affairs firm. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps just days after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, and has earned a Masters Degree from University of Pennsylvania and a law degree from Seton Hall University. In this episode, Assemblyman Mukherji explains the reason why he accomplished as much as he did at such a young age: he had to.
