In this show, adult English language students in GO2 class talk about social networking. Simone, from Germany, and Jacek, from Poland, in their final week of class, kindly chose the topic and prepared the questions, introduce the show and interview their classmates.

1. Do you use Facebook or other social networking services like Twitter or MySpace?
2. When did you start to use it and why?
3. How often do you use [this social networking service] and how much time do you spend on social networking services?
4. Do you think that you are addicted to social networking services?
5. Do you have any local service similar to Facebook in your country?
6. How many friends do you have on Facebook and how many of them are your real friends in real life?
7. Do you put many private pictures and other data on your Facebook account?
8. Have you ever had any bad experiences with any social network service?
9. Do you protect your privacy?
10. So don’t you think that you should be more careful with the information you put on Facebook?

This show was recorded in class, on group teacher, Geoff's, Apple MacBook Pro computer with the program Garageband. The Garageband jingle used is Redondo Beach. After editing in Garageband and Audacity (for noise removal and deletion of unnecessary silence), the audio volume was levelled using the program Levelator (www.gigavox.com/levelator), and the file was converted to MP3 format using Switch Audio File Converter (http://www.nch.com.au/switch/index.html). The photo was edited in Apple iPhoto and Adobe Fireworks.
