Description

Sorry, there is no podcast this week.

Kubra, from Turkey, and Yeon Hee, from South Korea, chose an interesting topic (their classmates' own countries) prepared questions, introduced the show and interviewed their classmates.

Unfortunately, the sound quality of the recording was so poor that we can't publish it. This was my (Geoff Taylor, the teacher's) fault. It is a real pity, as it was a great topic, and some very interesting discussion resulted. So, please check out the class photo.

Kubra and Yeon Hee's interview questions:

Students' own countries

1. What are the biggest differences between the UK and your country?
2. When you stay in another country, what do you miss most from your country?
3. If you invited foreign friends to your home, what food would you cook for them?
(for example, a traditional dish in your country)
4. What is the most popular place in your country? Why? (Is there any special reason?)
5. In your country, are there any traditional clothes? (Can you describe them?)
Have you ever worn these clothes? (Why / why not and when?)
6. Recently, the weather has been very cold in Oxford. How about in your country?
(Could you describe your country's climate?)
